Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Model Coordinator to develop, manage, and update ELV subsystem models using BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks. You will coordinate ELV models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure spatial compliance.

You will run clash detection meetings, ensure designs conform to BEP and local regulations, generate shop drawings and as-built models, and support the project teams with BIM queries, documentation, and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years BIM coordination experience, ELV/MEP background.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360.
• Familiar with ELV standards (TIA/EIA, NFPA, BICSI).

Responsibilities

• Explore and implement BIM tools/workflows to improve ELV design and coordination efficiency; support 4D/5D BIM integration.

Model Coordination:

• - Develop, manage, and update ELV subsystem models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• - Coordinate ELV models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure spatial compliance.

Documentation & Standards:

• - Ensure ELV designs adhere to project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), client standards, and local regulations.
• - Generate shop drawings, as-built models, and other deliverables from BIM models.
• - Maintain version control and documentation of ELV BIM files.

Collaboration & Communication:

• - Liaise with ELV engineers, system integrators, and other trades to gather design inputs and resolve modeling issues.
• - Support project teams with BIM-related queries and training.
• - Participate in coordination meetings and provide BIM updates and reports.

Quality Assurance:

• - Perform regular audits of ELV models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• - Validate model content against design intent and specifications.

Technology & Innovation:

• - Explore and implement BIM tools and workflows to improve ELV design and coordination efficiency.
• - Support integration of ELV models into 4D/5D BIM for construction sequencing and cost estimation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably with ELV systems background or MEPFS
• Proficiency in BIM software: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360.
• Familiarity with ELV systems and standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, NFPA, BICSI).
• Strong understanding of construction processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
