SHIMIZU-FUJITA-TAKENAKA-EEI JOINT VENTURE is seeking a BIM Specialist to develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models, aligned with BEP and client requirements. You will work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure coordinated, clash-free models accessible to all stakeholders.
You will generate data outputs to support analysis and decisions, perform regular quality checks, and guide team members on BIM workflows and standards, including ISO 19650, across Civil, Structural,
Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models in accordance with project standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure coordinated, clash-free, and integrated models accessible to all stakeholders.
Generate data and model-based outputs to support analysis, decision-making, and improved project outcomes.
Conduct regular quality checks on models to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Provide training, guidance, and support to team members on BIM software, processes, and best practices.
Integrate various software tools and technologies to enhance workflows and optimize the BIM process.
Participate in coordination meetings and provide model-based visualizations to aid decision-making.
Maintain version control, model documentation, and organized file management to ensure consistency across all project deliverables.
Ensure that all BIM practices adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including ISO 19650 standards for information management.
Contribute to continues improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance BIM processes, tools, and team efficiency.
Perform other duties from time to time as assigned by the superiors.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields in the built environment.
Additional training or certification in BIM, CAD, or digital construction technologies is an advantage.
Proficiency in BIM authoring tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
Knowledge of BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650 and relevant local/national regulations.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination across Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Ability to generate 2D drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
Familiarity with clash detection, model auditing, and quality control workflows.
Experience with collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise, or Similar).
Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (e.g., Dynamo, Python) for model automation is a plus.
At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary coordination, particularly between Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
Experience working on projects that applied BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and followed ISO 19650 standards.
Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or building projects in preferred but not required.
Willingness to continuously learn new BIM tools, workflows, and technologies to support career growth.
Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650, and local/national regulations.
Ability to interpret and produce accurate construction drawings and technical documentation.
Multidisciplinary coordination skills, particularly across Architectural, Structural, and MEP systems.
Experience in clash detection, model auditing, and quality assurance.
Familiarity with common data environments (CDE) such as BIM 360, ACC, or ProjectWise.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional project teams.
Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
Adaptability and willingness to learn emerging digital construction technologies.
Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Dynamo, Python, or visual scripting) is an advantage.
Visualization and presentation skills for model-based reporting and coordination meetings.
