Job summary

Realcognita is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our team. You will prepare detailed architectural drawings using Archicad and BIM workflows to create accurate master plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and construction details.

You will translate design concepts into model-based documents, work with the drafting manager to ensure standards, and develop technical documentation including 3D models. Experience with NCC, Australian or US standards is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A bachelor/college degree in Architecture or equivalent drafting course is desirable but not mandatory.
• Must have 1–3 years of recent work experience using ArchiCAD drafting programs/software.
• Minimum 6–12 months experience in residential drafting using ArchiCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings using Archicad and BIM workflows to produce accurate complex architectural documentation/drafts.
• Interpret and produce detailed master plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and construction details and variation orders.
• Translate design concepts and markups into accurate, model-based drawings and documentation.
• Work closely with the drafting manager and team to ensure standards and project requirements are met.
• Used Archicad to develop and produce detailed technical documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design or documentation issues.
