Job summary

Newcore Industries International Inc is seeking an Architect/ drafter to prepare architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, and to translate design concepts into technical drawings and details. The role involves site visits, document管理, and coordination with project teams to ensure code compliance and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Architecture (licensed preferred), strong BIM proficiency, and a solid grasp of construction methods and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; licensed Architect preferred depending on project requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit with BIM workflow knowledge.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods, detailing, materials, and codes.
• Ability to prepare accurate construction drawings, details, and technical documentation across project phases.
• Familiarity with site assessment, RFIs, and coordination during project implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings using CAD and BIM software.
• Translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings, specifications, and construction details.
• Develop precise plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details for construction.
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes, regulations, project requirements, and quality standards.
• Organize and maintain project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Identify and resolve technical/design issues in coordination with the project team.
• Conduct pre-design and ongoing site visits to gather measurements, field data and photos.
• Provide technical support during construction via site observations, RFIs, site condition reviews, and design change documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for consistency across documents.
