Job summary

Emapta is seeking an Architect (ArchiCAD) to transform BIM concepts into buildable Australian designs from a home-based setup. You will bridge design thinking with precise documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver construction drawings for international projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years' experience, a degree in Architecture, and strong ArchiCAD/BIM skills. The role offers a full-time, permanent WFH arrangement with day shifts aligned to NSW time and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 3+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong hands-on ArchiCAD and BIM workflows.
• Proven experience producing architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, detailing, materials, and construction methods.
• Experience coordinating architectural work with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and technical accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation using ArchiCAD.
• Create and maintain accurate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate design concepts into detailed architectural drawings and models.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and other documentation.
• Coordinate models with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Support design development, material selection, specifications, and detailing.
• Incorporate design changes and project feedback into drawings and BIM models.
• Ensure documentation complies with building codes and project specs.
• Support projects through design development, permitting, tender, and construction phases.
• Identify and resolve design/coordination issues; maintain organized files.
