Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in accounting support, billing, or financial operations.
• Solid working knowledge of general accounting support procedures and financial workflows.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, reconciliations, and template preparation.
• Strong attention to detail paired with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Billing Operations & Processing: Support daily invoicing workflows, manage adjustments, and ensure all customer bills are issued accurately and on schedule.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary communication link between Account Managers, Operations, Revenue Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cargo Claims teams.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Promptly identify, report, and resolve billing errors, rate mismatches, and customer inquiries.
• ERP Data Management: Prepare data upload templates for invoice adjustments, credit memos, debit memos, new customer profiles, and account updates (such as addresses, payment terms, or late fees).
• Refund & Inquiry Support: Coordinate with internal departments to provide customers with complete documentation and details regarding check or ACH refunds.
• Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate accounting files, generate reports for monthly account reconciliations, and archive documents in compliance with retention policies.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to established internal controls, accounting procedures, and audit guidelines.
