Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 1 year of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send accurate invoices and statements on schedule.
• Follow up with customers on past-due balances by phone, email, and written notice.
• Negotiate payment arrangements within company policy.
• Apply payments and reconcile accounts receivable records.
• Resolve billing disputes and discrepancies quickly and professionally.
• Monitor aging reports and prepare regular collections reports.
• Escalate delinquent accounts when necessary and recommend write-offs.
• Keep clear records of all customer communications and collection activity.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and applicable collection laws.
