Job summary

UpSkill MNL, Inc. is seeking a billing specialist to prepare, verify and issue invoices to clients and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. You will maintain billing records and assist in aging and collection reports.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 1–2 years in billing or collections, strong numerical/analytical skills, and excellent communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and detail-oriented work style are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in billing, collection, or a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented in processing and maintaining records.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify and issue invoices to clients.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies
• Issue acknowledgment receipts for payments collected from clients.
• Maintain and monitor updated billing records.
• Coordinate with clients regarding payment schedules and outstanding balances.
• Maintain records of invoices, receipts and collection documents, both physically and digitally, ensuring information is organized and accessible.
• Assist in resolving billing disputes and payment issues
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing and collection concerns
• Prepare aging reports and collection status reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
