Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the revenue cycle and build high-performing teams in a global context. You will oversee billing, receivables, collections, and revenue operations, coaching a team across locations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and governance.

With 7+ years in revenue-related finance and 2–3+ years of leadership, you will shape workflows, drive performance, and partner with UK and international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience across revenue operations, billing, receivables, collections, e-billing, or related finance functions.
• 2-3+ years of formal team leadership experience with coaching, performance management, and day-to-day oversight.
• Professional accounting credential (CA/CPA) or equivalent international designation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the full revenue cycle while safeguarding financial controls and data accuracy.
• Lead Revenue Control team with coaching, capability building, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience across revenue operations, billing, receivables, collections, e-billing, or related finance functions
• 2-3+ years of formal team leadership experience, with responsibility for coaching, capability building, performance management, and day-to-day people oversight
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or another relevant business discipline
• Holds a recognized professional accounting credential such as CA, CPA, or an equivalent international designation
• Strong working knowledge of order-to-cash or billing-to-cash workflows, revenue controls, collections activity, financial governance, and operational finance processes
• Proven track record of improving team performance, refining workflows, allocating resources effectively, and maintaining consistent service outcomes
• Confident in interpreting financial and operational issues, making sound decisions, and communicating recommendations clearly to stakeholders
• Comfortable working with UK-based or other international teams, including cross-functional stakeholders in different locations
• Exposure to setting up, growing, or improving finance or shared-services teams within complex operating environments is considered an advantage
• Familiarity with billing or finance systems is required; Aderant experience is preferred, while Elite, 3E, SAP, or equivalent platforms are also relevant
• Able to manage competing deadlines, shifting priorities, and high-volume workloads while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Direct the full revenue cycle while safeguarding financial controls, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Manage and develop the Revenue Control team through coaching, performance guidance, capability building, and ongoing support
• Work with senior leaders and international stakeholders to track team performance, service quality, and operational results
• Direct day-to-day operations across billing, e-billing, collections, reporting, vendor documentation, and related revenue activities
• Resolve complex billing, collections, and revenue issues as the key escalation point
• Produce accurate revenue reports and insights to support business decisions
• Improve and standardize revenue processes to support scalability, consistency, and business growth
• Partner with finance teams and global stakeholders to resolve revenue requirements and maintain service standards
• Lead continuous improvement efforts that strengthen workflows, service delivery, and control effectiveness
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory obligations, financial controls, and revenue management requirements
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional development across the team
