Job summary

The Western Union Company is seeking a KYC Specialist to investigate cases requiring enhanced due diligence. You will conduct customer interviews, analyze activity, and determine appropriate actions while adhering to company policies.

The role supports AML compliance and requires strong English and Spanish communication skills. The position is hybrid, with in-person collaboration expected at least three days a week and a consistent Manila-time shift to support global operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of AML compliance, fraud prevention, and financial crime investigations experience.
• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong phone communication.
• Knowledge of AML typologies, KYC requirements and due diligence practices.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to interview customers when necessary and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Conduct enhanced due diligence investigations and gather information through customer interviews.
• Analyze customer activity; review relationships, counterparties, and economic profiles.
• Investigate alerts using WU systems and public databases; determine next steps.
• Document findings, decisions, and rationale; escalate when needed.
• Contribute to knowledge base and support AML compliance requirements.
