Job summary

Western Union is seeking an Associate in AML Compliance (Know Your Customer) for Quezon City, Philippines. The role involves interviewing customers by phone to assess usage and AML knowledge while handling refunds and compliance reviews.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in financial services. Hybrid work arrangements apply, including some night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in AML compliance or related banking/customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Strong analytical, research and detail-oriented skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer interviews by phone to review usage of Western Union services.
• Assess AML knowledge and compliance needs during refunds and calls.
• Perform reviews by phone or email and communicate outcomes to customers, agents and colleagues.
• Follow up on previously reviewed cases to obtain required information and documents.
• Maintain productivity during low call periods by reviewing data and validating documents.
• Maintain high accuracy, professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
• Be available for night shifts and weekend work as required.
