Job summary

Penbrothers is seeking a BI, Automations & AI Solutions Manager to lead a diverse team delivering dashboards, automation, and AI-driven data solutions. You will supervise a Data Engineer building the Lakehouse and oversee AI initiatives, balancing strategic roadmaps with BAU reporting.

The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, credible delivery timelines, and a player‑coach mindset in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of total professional work experience in technology, data, BI, or AI field.
Experience with BI/dashboarding tools (Looker Studio, Power BI), workflow automation (N8N), AI prompt engineering, Google Workspace development (AppScript, AppSheet), lightweight web apps, and modern data architectures like Medallion/Lakehouse.
Strong people management skills: coaching, delegation, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
Solid technical fluency across BI, automation, and AI tooling; ability to guide and unblock specialists.
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management and prioritization skills; multi-stream leadership.
Analytical mindset with emphasis on data quality and accurate reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative cross-role partner.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ongoing standardization.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists across data viz, automation, AI prompt engineering, and low-code/no-code development.
Oversee a Data Engineer building the Lakehouse and Data Warehouse; drive daily delivery and growth.
Set goals, conduct reviews, and manage capacity and priorities across the team.
Design, develop, and deliver dashboards/reports in Looker Studio and Power BI for internal and client stakeholders.
Guide the use of N8N for cross-system workflow automations.
Supervise AI prompt engineering initiatives ensuring reliability and business alignment.
Direct internal tools development using Google AppScript, AppSheet, and lightweight web apps.
Ensure Medallion Architecture work in BigQuery meets data quality and governance needs.
Partner with AI Strategy & Innovation Lead to translate strategic AI roadmaps into actionable work.
