Job summary

Reed Elsevier Philippines is hiring a BI Support Analyst to maintain and improve BI solutions across the organization. You will ensure data accuracy, reliability of reports, and timely issue resolution while collaborating with business and technical teams to optimize analytics processes.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, translating complex data into executive visuals, and leveraging AI to accelerate analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (Snowflake, Databricks, SSRS).
• Expertise in BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Clear communication of findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and data quality discipline.
• Strong data warehousing fundamentals and statistics basics.
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and ML concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn enterprise AI tools.

The BI Support Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving Business Intelligence solutions across the organization. This role ensures data accuracy, report reliability, and timely resolution of BI-related issues while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to optimize reporting and analytics processes.

• 2+ years in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Data Modeling (Snowflake, Databricks, SSRS).
• Expertise in BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated high level of attention to detail.
• Database and data warehouse fundamentals.
• Statistical modeling and basic ML concepts.
• Advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with AI tools (Chat GPT, Claude, Copilot) and their applications.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS S3, Python/R.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows in a professional work setting.
• Prior experience supporting system migrations and translating related analytics reporting
