Job summary

Astoria Plaza Pasig City is recruiting for a front-line events assistant to support banqueting operations. You will set up function rooms and ballrooms, arrange furniture, linens, and AV necessities while coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Responsibilities include serving meals (plated or buffet), managing timing for multi-course service, clearing tables promptly, and addressing guest dietary needs.

Qualifications

• TESDA NC II in Food and Beverage Services or a BS in Hospitality Management.
• Hospitality-related diploma or degree preferred.
• Fresh graduates may apply; prior event/server experience advantageous.
• Ability to handle long shifts and physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up function rooms and ballrooms per event orders (MICE).
• Arrange banquet furniture and lay linens according to standards.
• Coordinate basic AV needs with the technical team.
• Serve plated meals or manage buffet lines; maintain timing for multi-course meals.
