Job summary

China Banking Corporation (CBC) is seeking an detail‑oriented Operations Assistant to support accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions across units and external partners.

You will prepare GL entries, reconcile accounts, and generate daily and monthly reports while ensuring compliance with banking procedures. Fresh graduates are welcome; shifting schedules apply and opportunities exist to grow in accounting, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Good numerical and reconciliation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in banking or financial operations is an advantage.
Willing to be assigned in a shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

Prepare and record General Ledger (GL) entries and ensure transactions are accurately posted.
Perform reconciliation of deposit and GL accounts to verify the accuracy of transactions.
Prepare daily and monthly operational and financial reports for review.
Monitor and reconcile InstaPay and other remittance-related transactions.
Coordinate with branches, head office units, partner institutions, and customers regarding account balances and transaction concerns.
Prepare summaries and reports related to cash pick-up and foreign exchange transactions.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper safekeeping of accountable documents.
Comply with banking regulations, internal policies, and operational procedures.
