RELX PLC is seeking a Cash Accountant / Bank Reconciliation Accountant in Manila. The role ensures accurate reconciliation of cash and bank accounts, supports month-end close, and prepares cash-related journal entries.

You will work with GL, AP, AR, Treasury, and R2R teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate cash balances. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in R2R or general accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin required or equivalent.
• CPA or similar qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, cash accounting, GL or R2R preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform bank-to-book reconciliations daily/weekly/monthly and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and post cash-related journal entries and adjust for FX differences.
• Manage month-end close activities and ensure supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with AP, AR, GL, Treasury and R2R teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain reconciliation files and provide schedules for audits.
