Job summary

Sucree Coco and Love, Inc. / IDIM DIY Bakery is seeking a Baking Assistant / Service Crew to support customers during baking sessions and assist with cake and pastry decoration at the SM MOA branch in the Philippines.

The role requires 1–2 years in baking or related customer-service roles, a college level or certificate in Hospitality or Food & Beverage, and the ability to multitask across duties including sales, tips, and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• College graduate or certificate related to Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in baking, baking assistant, customer service or related food-industry roles
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions from bakers
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Amenable to 6 days/week with 1 day off and shifting schedule (Morning/Mid/Night)
• Contract: 4 months

Responsibilities

• Assist clients during baking sessions and ensure their needs are met
• Provide information on baking tools, ingredients, and procedures
• Register sales on a POS/cash register and itemize purchases
• Deliver a positive, courteous customer experience

About the role

The Baking Assistant / Service Crew is responsible for assisting clients or customers in baking and decorating cakes and pastries.

Branches:

• SM MOA

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure clients or customers are given all their needs during their baking session

• Provide accurate information about baking tools, ingredients and baking procedure to ensure client satisfaction

• Register sales on a POS/cash register, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases

• Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service

• Provide solution and feedback if problems occur during the baking session

• Provide baking tips to clients

• Assist customer questions and needs about the product

• Demonstrate and explain merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for customers' needs and preferences

• Display, refill, and organize products in store for customers to locate easily

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of utensils and ingredients

Qualifications:

• College graduate, College Level or Certificate Course related to Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage or equivalent

• 1-2 years of experience in baking, baking assistant, customer service, service crew, or related work experience in the food industry

• Ability to multitask and follow instructions given by bakers

• Good to Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Amenable to work 6 days a week with 1 day off

• Amenable to work in a shifting schedule (Morning / Mid / Night Shift)

• Contract: 4 months
