Job summary

Sucree Coco and Love, Inc. / IDIM DIY Bakery is hiring a Baking Assistant / Baking Coach to support customers during baking sessions and assist bakers with decorating tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years in baking or related food service, a college degree or certificate in Hospitality/F&B, and availability to work six days a week with shifting morning/mid/night shifts. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• College graduate or certificate course related to Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage.
• 1–2 years of baking, baking assistant, customer service or related food-industry experience.
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions from bakers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients during baking sessions and provide tips.
• Operate POS, process sales and itemize purchases.

POSITION: BAKING ASSISTANT / BAKING COACH (Service Crew)

Branches:

• SM MEGAMALL (2 - additional manpower)
• SM MOA (2 - additional manpower)

The Baking Assistant / Baking Coach is responsible for assisting clients or customers in baking and decorating cakes and pastries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• FOH Staff
• Ensure the clients or customers will be given all their needs during their baking session.
• Provide accurate information about the baking tools, ingredients and baking procedure to ensure client satisfaction.
• Registers sales on a POS/cash register, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases.
• Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
• Provide solution and feedback if problems occur during the baking session.
• Provide baking tips to the clients
• Assist customer's questions and needs about the product all the time.
• Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customers' needs and preferences.
• Displaying, refilling, and organizing products in a store for the customers to locate easily.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of utensils and ingredients.
• Resolves customer issues and complaints as necessary.

Qualifications:

• College graduate, College Level or Certificate Course related to Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage or equivalent
• Must have 1-2 years of experience in baking, baking assistant, customer service, service crew, or related work experience in the food industry
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions given by bakers.

• Good to Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be amenable to work 6 days a week with 1 day off
• Must be amenable to work in a shifting schedule (Morning / Mid / Night Shift)

NOTES:

• Successful applicants will undergo paid training to become familiar with the responsibilities of the position.
• We're looking for 'experienced' applicants. Fresh graduates will not be accepted.
