Job summary

JATHNIER CORPORATION seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector for our bakery in Davao City. You will verify baked goods against approved standards for appearance, size, bake, texture and freshness, and ensure compliance with recipes, hygiene and storage protocols.

Record results, coach bakers, report defects to supervisors, and submit reports to resolve ingredient or equipment issues, supporting consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Check baked goods from bakers against approved standards for appearance, size/weight, bake, texture and freshness.
• Check recipe/process compliance, hygiene, handling, storage, labels and shelf life during assigned bakeshop visits.
• Identify and hold defective or suspect products under company procedure; notify the QA Lead and branch supervisor promptly.
• Record inspection results, photos and affected quantities. Follow up corrections and recheck products.
• Coach bakers on approved standards and help the QA Lead investigate product complaints and repeated defects.
• Submit inspection reports and expedite ingredient or equipment issues to the responsible team.
