Job summary

JATHNIER CORPORATION is seeking a QA Lead to oversee the entire QA Department in our Davao City operations. You will plan workloads, allocate resources, and conduct performance reviews for Operations QA, the Assurance Engineer and Commissary QA.

You will prepare QA plans and inspection schedules based on food safety risks, complaints and changes; oversee hygiene, sanitation, storage, shelf-life, and traceability checks across bakeshops and commissary against approved standards to ensure

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire QA Department: plan workloads, resources, training and performance reviews for Operations QA, the Assurance Engineer and Commissary QA.
• Prepare QA plans and inspection schedules based on food safety risks, complaints, recurring defects and operating changes.
• Oversee product, process, hygiene, sanitation, storage, shelf-life and traceability checks across bakeshops and commissary against approved standards.
• Direct equipment, facility, construction and fabrication quality reviews through the Assurance Engineer and qualified technical staff.
• Review findings and investigate quality failures with responsible teams; promptly address critical food safety risks and serious/ recurring defects.
• Coordinate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA); department heads own action plans and implementation; QA tracks owners and deadlines and verifies completion and effectiveness.
• Report QA results, trends, overdue actions and decisions needed to the Corporate Assurance Head; maintain accurate, controlled records.
• Recommend improvements to standards, controls and training; coordinate urgent containment under approved procedures and delegated authority.
