Job summary

Staples Food Corporation in the Philippines seeks a quality assurance professional to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and QA activities within the assigned area. You will maintain accurate documentation of work performed and support preventive actions to avoid misoperations.

You will identify non-conformances, ensure proper tagging and sampling of finished goods, and report issues to the QA Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with QA policies, procedures, and GMP/HACCP principles.
• Ensure documentation of work is complete and reported accurately.
• Identify non-conformances promptly and coordinate corrective actions.
• Proper tagging, sampling, and segregation of non-conforming finished goods.
• Submit daily monitoring forms accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Notify QA Supervisor of issues in-line.
• Document observations related to process changes and non-conformances.
• Log activities per shift and ensure proper handover to incoming QA.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor to uphold GMP/HACCP and food safety standards.
• Train other QA staff for flexibility.
• Maintain and follow SOPs for respective work areas.

Job description

• Having a working knowledge of all policies, procedures, and QA activities within his/her respective working area and ensures that documentation of work performed is complete, accurate, and properly reported.
• Spots potential problems and promptly advises for preventive actions in order to avoid misoperations.
• Timely identification of non-conformances for immediate correction, thereby reducing downgrading/rejections.
• Ensures proper segregation, tagging, and sampling of non-conforming finished goods.
• Accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of daily monitoring forms.
• Notifies the QA Supervisor of any issues/problems in-line.
• Proper documentation of observations and incidents related to process/product changes, in-line misoperations, GMP violations, process deviations, and non-conformances.
• Logging in of activities on a per shift basis and ensures proper turn-over of tasks to incoming QA.
• Works with Production Supervisor to ensure Production conformance to GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety principles.
• Regularly verifies QA activities in other areas (depending on area of assignment).
• Trains other QA’s for flexibility purposes.
• Maintains and follows appropriate SOP’s for their work areas.
