Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Baker-Ovenman to prepare and bake breads and pastries in line with company recipes and quality standards. The role requires operating ovens, ensuring dough proofing, and maintaining cleanliness in the baking area.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, able to follow instructions, and capable of working on a shifting schedule including weekends and holidays. Experience is not mandatory, and teamwork is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.
• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.
