Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in line with standard recipes and quality controls.

You will set up and monitor ovens, ensure proper dough proofing, maintain cleanliness, and assist the production team as needed. Willingness to work in a commissary warehouse and on shifting schedules including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school or higher education required; college degree optional.
• Experience not required; applicants with or without experience encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work on shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up proofer and chiller for dough proofing.
• Operate ovens at correct temperature and bake times.
• Check quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking area and equipment.
• Handle and store ingredients and baking materials properly.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products or equipment issues to supervisor.
• Assist production team with other tasks as needed.

BreadTalkis a Singaporean lifestyle brand that has gained international appeal for its Boutique Bakery Concept, and we aim to expand and open more branches nationwide. We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.
• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!
