Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker-Ovenman in Cavite to prepare, bake, and assure the quality of breads and pastries. You will set up equipment, monitor ovens, and maintain safe, clean work areas in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Training and opportunities for growth are available within our expanding network of stores.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Can follow instructions and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper setup of proofer and chiller for dough proofing.
• Operates ovens at correct temperatures and times.
• Checks quality, appearance, and consistency of baked goods.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of baking area and equipment.
• Handles and stores ingredients and baking materials properly.
• Follows food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Reports damaged products or equipment issues to supervisor/manager.
• Assists production team with other tasks as needed.

BreadTalkis a Singaporean lifestyle brand that has gained international appeal for its Boutique Bakery Concept, and we aim to expand and open more branches nationwide. We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.

• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.

• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.

• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.

• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.

• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.

• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.
