Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread and pastries in line with our standard recipes and quality controls.

You will set up the proofer and chiller, operate ovens, monitor baking times, check product quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting the production team. Shift work including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least HS diploma or equivalent; any field degree acceptable.
• Open to applicants with or without bakery experience.
• Willing to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Hardworking, reliable, and capable in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to follow instructions and collaborate in a team.
• Willing to work in the Commissary Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Sets up proofer and chiller to ensure proper dough proofing.
• Operates ovens at correct temperatures and bake times.
• Checks quality, appearance, and consistency of baked goods.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of baking area and equipment.
• Stores ingredients and baking materials properly.
• Follows food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Reports damaged products or equipment issues to Supervisor/Manager.
• Assists production team with other tasks as needed.

We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.
• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!
