Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Baker-Ovenman to prepare and bake bread, pastries, and other products following our standard recipes and quality standards.

The role requires setting up proofer, operating ovens, checking product quality, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. Fresh graduates welcome; shifting schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up proofer and chiller for proper dough proofing.

• Handle and store ingredients and baking materials properly.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products or equipment issues to Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist production team with other tasks as needed.

BreadTalk is a Singaporean lifestyle brand that has gained international appeal for its Boutique Bakery Concept, and we aim to expand and open more branches nationwide. We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.

• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.

• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.

• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.

• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.

• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.

• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.

• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!
