Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering production systems with distributed architectures.
• Expert-level Python with large-scale production codebase experience.
• Strong understanding of real-time or streaming data systems.
• Experience with data pipelines and relational databases.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI-powered software solving real-world business problems.
• Develop backend services and data pipelines with full ownership of architecture to maintenance.
• Apply an AI-augmented SDLC and tooling to accelerate delivery with human oversight where it matters.
• Design modular APIs (REST, gRPC) and scalable backend architectures for large-scale businesses.
• Break down complex problems into clear technical designs and deliver production-grade systems in sprints.
• Improve latency, throughput, and cost through profiling and robust architecture.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Data Engineering, Data Science, Infrastructure, and client teams.
• Review code, share knowledge, and drive high engineering standards.
• Monitor deployed apps to maintain ongoing value and stay current with AI developments.
