Job summary

HRTX seeks an Azure Virtual Desktop Associate Director to own the infrastructure services roadmap and partner with global IT leaders to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions. You will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop environments and drive cost-efficiency across the desktop estate.

You will also manage Genesys Cloud strategy and oversee network infrastructure, security, and operations while guiding cross-functional teams to ensure high availability

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT infrastructure with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• AVD and cloud-based desktop services experience.
• Network architecture and operations experience.
• IT operations frameworks (ITIL, ServiceNow, monitoring tools).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, Genesys, etc.) are a plus.

• Oversee design, security, and operations of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/VPN/Wi‑Fi).
• Lead network modernization and resilience initiatives.
• Direct day-to-day IT operations including monitoring, incident, change, and capacity planning.
• Ensure IT services meet SLAs and compliance standards.
• Lead operational risk management and business continuity planning.
• Oversee lifecycle management of IT assets.
• Implement and manage endpoint security, patching, and configuration standards.
• Drive user productivity through standardization, self-service tools, and automation.
• Manage IT support teams for timely resolution of issues.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional infrastructure and support teams.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous service improvement.
• Serve as escalation point for high-impact incidents and major operational issues.

Qualification

• Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, relevant experience may substitute for the degree
• 15+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

• Strong track record of leading IT teams in high‑availability and customer‑facing environments (BPO, telco, or enterprise preferred).

• Relevant certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, Genesys, etc.) are a plus.
