Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a System Admin I (Azure Ops Support) to maintain and optimize cloud environments, with a focus on Azure resources, monitoring via Azure Monitor, and Automox management. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as System Admin or similar in a cloud environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with incident and change management processes.
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting cloud systems.
• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL).
• Team player with high quality work standards.
• Willing to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure cloud environments.
• Validate backups and ensure VM backups with approved exceptions.
• Configure and monitor Azure components via monitoring tools.
• Manage Automox portal and ensure VM patching and onboarding.
• Develop policies for logging and resource tracking.
• Perform backup optimization and remove unattached disks to save costs.
• Migrate from OMS to AMA for Azure Monitor Agents and related tasks.
