Job summary

ING seeks an AVP, Financial Reporting, Governance & Control, to lead integrity and timeliness of financial and regulatory reporting. You will oversee governance, drive improvements, and partner with regulators, auditors, and senior stakeholders across ING's finance operations.

You will ensure accurate reporting, support audits, and translate IFRS/PFRS developments into practical guidance while strengthening internal controls and overseeing outsourced activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in financial/regulatory reporting, financial control, audit, or governance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/PFRS and banking regulatory reporting obligations.
• Experience with regulators, auditors, and regional/global stakeholders is a plus.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements, change management, and strengthen controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate financial and regulatory reporting in line with ING policies and requirements.
• Support financial statements, external audits, and regulatory filings.
• Analyze results, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor IFRS/PFRS developments and translate them into practical guidance.
• Strengthen governance and internal controls across reporting processes.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, operations, and product teams on initiatives.
• Oversee outsourced finance activities and ensure service quality.
• Support strategic change programs and reporting transformation initiatives.
