Job summary

ING seeks an AVP, Financial Reporting, Governance & Control, to lead integrity and timeliness of financial and regulatory reporting. You will oversee governance, drive improvements, and partner with regulators, auditors, and senior stakeholders across ING's finance operations.

You will ensure accurate reporting, support audits, and translate IFRS/PFRS developments into practical guidance while strengthening internal controls and overseeing outsourced activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in financial/regulatory reporting, financial control, audit, or governance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/PFRS and banking regulatory reporting obligations.
• Experience with regulators, auditors, and regional/global stakeholders is a plus.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements, change management, and strengthen controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

Role Summary

As AVP, Financial Reporting, Governance & Control, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial and regulatory reporting. About the Team

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, financial control, audit, or finance governance within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/PFRS and financial reporting frameworks.
• Understanding of banking regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
• Experience working with regulators, auditors, and regional or global stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage change, improve processes, and strengthen controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
