Role Summary

As an Accounting and Reporting Expert I, you will support key accounting and reporting activities across ING's global operations. You will play an important role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting reporting obligations, maintaining strong controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and ING reporting requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations while contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting quality.

About the Team

Global Finance Services (GFS) is responsible for the centralized processing and reporting of accounting events related to Financial Markets, Treasury, Lending, and Payments Services across ING Bank. The team operates globally, with colleagues based in Amsterdam and Manila, supporting a wide range of finance and reporting activities. As part of a growing international team, you'll gain exposure to complex banking operations, global stakeholders, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Experience in financial, management, or regulatory reporting activities
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial close processes
• Experience performing account reconciliations, including intercompany and cash reconciliations
• Ability to prepare financial reports, management information, and reporting dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and reporting issues
