Job summary

East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) in Taguig seeks an experienced Corporate Communications and PR Lead to drive media relations, external messaging, and the bank's reputation across press, social media, and stakeholder channels.

You will develop brand-consistent communications, craft executive speeches, oversee interviews, manage crisis communications with Legal and Risk, and lead multi‑channel campaigns that boost visibility and credibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills with press releases, speeches, social content, and executive communications.
• Knowledge of banking/financial services and regulatory environment.
• Experience planning media engagements, PR campaigns, and executive visibility.
• Ability to manage issues, crisis communications, and stakeholder messaging with Legal/Risk/Compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Meltwater, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute EastWest's media relations and publicity strategy with journalists and media.
• Craft and oversee executive speeches, statements, interviews, and institutional communications.
• Drive executive visibility and thought leadership through speaking engagements and award submissions.
• Lead post-event communications and editorial content highlighting milestones and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Customer Service, and business units on reputational issues and crisis communications.
• Produce investor and corporate materials, press kits, and campaigns.
