Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to support airport passenger processing systems in Tanauan, Philippines. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and related equipment, working closely with IT colleagues and vendors to ensure system uptime.
The position requires 5+ years of field service experience, strong knowledge of CUPPS/CUSS and AODB/RMS, and a shift-based schedule in a 24/7 environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years as a field service technician in a technical support role.
- Hands-on experience with airport systems CUPPS, CUSS, SBD, AOS, Bag Messaging, AODB, RMS, Biometrics, FIDS, Security Gates.
- Associate degree or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu.
- Strong experience troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining software for business applications, computers, and peripherals.
- Experience assisting in analysis and resolution of equipment failures.
- Proficient in supporting installation projects and customer service in on-site environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for airport passenger processing systems, computers, and networks; troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Maintain highest standards of IT infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to refine support strategies and ensure 100% system uptime.
- Perform rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 environment.
- Deliver hands-on support in face-to-face customer environments with timely resolutions.
