Job summary

MG Motors Congressional - Service Department is seeking a skilled automotive technician in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles in line with factory standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle problems, performing repairs, and advising on additional work. Requires NC1/NC2 certifications, a graduate in automotive course, and at least 3 years of experience, with both automatic and manual transmission driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service/repair.
• Must know how to diagnose and repair vehicle issues according to standards.
• Knowledgeable about car parts and service procedures.
• Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission with a valid professional driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints.
• Perform service and repair work as indicated on the repair order.
• Ensure vehicles are clean during and after repairs.
• Advise service advisors on additional repairs and recommended work.
• Participate in trainings and meetings as required by management.
• Aim to achieve monthly target sales for the service department.
• Maintain proper service documentation and repair forms.
• Keep up-to-date with technical bulletins and product updates.
• Promote 5S and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Main Responsibility:

Diagnose, performs service, and repair to customer's units in accordance with the manufacturer's standards and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints.

• Performs work/service on customer units as indicated in the repair order.
• Fix customer vehicles right the first time. (F1) Non-F1 rate is at a maximum of 3%.
• Ensures cleanliness of the vehicle during and after the repairs/services.
• Advices Service Advisors of needed additional repairs on the unit as well as recommended repairs.
• Participates in training and meetings, both internal and external as required by the management.
• Achieves monthly target sales as determined by the Service Manager.
• 100% utilization of required service forms mandated by the company as well as the manufacturers.
• Compliance with all service programs with no incidents of violations as audited by the Dealer Development Management Office.
• Keeps self-abreast with new technical bulletins and new product updates.
• Observe proper procedures in conducting repairs as per the manufacturer's standard.
• Promotes 5S and maintains cleanliness in the work area at all times.
