Job summary

MG Greenhills - Service Department is seeking an Automotive Foreman to supervise technicians, schedule work, and mentor junior staff. You will review performance and foster teamwork while ensuring repairs meet safety and manufacturer standards.

You will monitor service orders, oversee equipment maintenance, assist with diagnostics, and perform quality control including test drives to deliver reliable, market-ready vehicles.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years as an automotive technician with supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• NCI and NCII certifications required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, and review work for technicians and staff.
• Train and mentor new and junior mechanics.
• Conduct performance reviews and address concerns.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Monitor service orders, PMS, GJ, BRP and Warranty work.
• Oversee maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
• Assist technicians in diagnosing vehicle problems.
• Perform quality control inspections, including test-driving vehicles.
• Ensure repairs meet safety and distributor/manufacturer standards.
• Establish and enforce safety standards and procedures.
