Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential business opportunities involving automation products and services.
• Assist in identifying prospective customers, industries, projects, applications, and automation requirements.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, plant personnel, engineers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and system integrators.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, plant inspections, surveys, and assessments to understand requirements.
• Assist in developing sales and business-development strategies for automation offerings and services.
• Identify opportunities for modernization, system upgrades, expansion, optimization and maintenance.
• Follow up on inquiries, quotations, proposals, clarifications, and sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer requirements, opportunities, quotations, proposals, and project status.

About the role

• Identify and develop potential business opportunities involving industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical control systems, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, motor controls, industrial networking, control panels, and related products and services.
• Assist in identifying prospective customers, industries, projects, applications, and automation requirements.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers, plant personnel, engineers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, system integrators, and other business partners.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, site visits, plant inspections, surveys, and assessments to understand customer requirements and identify potential automation opportunities.
• Assist in developing sales and business-development strategies for automation products, systems, engineering services, upgrades, retrofits, rehabilitation projects, and maintenance services.
• Identify opportunities for automation modernization, system upgrades, expansion, optimization, replacement of obsolete equipment, and process improvement.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, proposals, technical clarifications, purchase requests, and other sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer requirements, sales opportunities, quotations, proposals, project status, and follow-up activities.
