Job summary

CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd. seeks an A&I Engineer to join a capable team across infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning. You will help plan, design, procure, construct and ensure timely delivery with a focus on automation and instrumentation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation and control, with PLC/SCADA/HMI expertise, and are willing to be stationed at project sites in Dagat-Dagatan Ave., Caloocan City.

Qualifications

• Registered Electronics Engineer or equivalent with 5+ years in automation, control, and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of industrial control networks, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and process instrumentation.
• Experience in project management, plant testing and commissioning is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/evaluate A&I specifications, design reports and drawings per project requirements.
• Supervise project execution and ensure proper implementation of drawings.
• Assist commissioning works and maintain testing/commissioning documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure proper execution of approved drawings.
• Coordinate with project management, clients, consultants, and contractors for timely delivery.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings and prepare reports.

About the role

The A&I Engineer shall work closely with a highly competent team of professionals in undertaking a diverse portfolio of high-impact infrastructure projects, from conceptualization, planning, feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, and ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare/Evaluate A&I technical specifications, design reports, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, relevant national regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Supervise actual project execution to ensure proper implementation of approved design/working drawings.
• Involve in the performance of commissioning works and keep track of proper testing and commissioning documentation.
• Conduct routine site inspection to ensure proper execution and implementation of approved design/working drawings.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the project management team, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of various reports and proposals.
• Perform other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.

About you

• Registered Electronics Engineer or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of working experience in the field of automation, control, and instrumentation.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial control networks, programmable logic control (PLC), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), human-machine interface (HMI), and process instrumentation.
• Experience in project management, plant testing and commissioning is an advantage.
• Experience in the field of water and wastewater treatment an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software applications is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and has an accommodating and proactive attitude.
• Ability to think analytically and identify technical and operational issues, anticipate their consequences, analyze from different perspectives, and provide practical solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Willing to be assigned at project site located in Fishpond Sawata 1 Road, Maypajo, Dagat-Dagatan Ave., Caloocan City
