Job Description
The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of instrumentation and control systems for power plants. The role focuses on engineering, configuration, testing, commissioning, field instrumentation such as installation, calibration, and maintenance activities, ensuring that systems are implemented correctly, safely, and in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics and Communication Engineering
- 2–6 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems
- Experience in power plant or industrial automation is an advantage
Skills and Competence
- Strong knowledge of field instrumentation and calibration
- Working knowledge of DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Emerson Ovation)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform and own detailed engineering activities
- Review and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control logic
- Ensure correctness and completeness of engineering outputs
- Execute loop checking, calibration, and functional testing
- Perform commissioning activities with plant operators and stakeholders
- Ensure field instrumentation and control system are fully aligned
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (field and system level)
- Ensure system performance meets operational requirements
