Job summary

TGT Global is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that streamline IT operations for MSP partners and clients.

You will work on scripting, CI/CD, and cloud integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation workflows in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Automation Engineering or DevOps.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Chef.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Cloud experience: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiar with Git, IT infrastructure and system administration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Automation Development: design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows.
• System Integration: connect automation with existing systems and tools.
• Process Improvement: identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Automation Testing & Deployment: test and deploy to production with minimal disruption.

As an Automation Engineer...

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that streamline IT operations, improve efficiency, and support our MSP partners and their clients.

Ideal Technical Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role

• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash

• Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or similar

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Familiarity with Git, system administration, and IT infrastructure

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Your Impact Starts Here

• Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes and operations using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or other automation platforms.

• System Integration: Integrate automation solutions with existing systems, tools, and software platforms to create seamless workflows and improve system performance.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation and recommend and implement automation strategies to reduce manual efforts, increase efficiency, and minimize errors.

• Automation Testing & Deployment: Test and validate automated solutions to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements, then deploy them to production environments with minimal disruption.

• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Monitor automated systems and workflows for performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support. Continuously assess and optimize automation processes for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of automation processes, scripts, and workflows. Prepare and deliver reports on automation performance and results to stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to ensure that automation solutions are aligned with business goals.
