Job summary
Ubiquity is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer in the Philippines to join a fast-paced Operations and Technology team. You will contribute to system design, perform admin support, and drive automation initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.
Candidates should have at least 3 years in Linux environments and hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure), plus strong scripting and monitoring skills. On-site work in the Philippines is expected, with on-call rotation as part of the role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in systems administration/engineering.
- 3+ years in Linux environments (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL).
- Cloud experience with AWS/Azure preferred.
Responsibilities
- Improve system design and infrastructure reliability.
- Provide admin support to Operations and Technology Team.
- Identify vulnerabilities and performance gaps; implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain automation to improve efficiency.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and incident response.
- Maintain software and OS patching, and document changes.
