Job summary

Seapac Philippines Inc. in Makati seeks an experienced draftsman lead to set up curtain walling, doors and windows guided by architectural drawings, contracts and specifications. You will manage a small team, allocate tasks, and ensure adherence to the project schedule with rigorous quality checks.

You will coordinate with design and project teams, attend meetings, and ensure timely distribution of drawings and information. Strong leadership and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in drafting curtain walling, doors and windows installations.

Responsibilities

• Set up curtain walling, doors and windows constructions per architectural drawings, contract/specs, and bill of quantities.
• Ensure structural checks for all components (glass, aluminium mullions, transoms, brackets).
• Obtain approvals of drawings and samples within project timelines.
• Lead and manage a team of 3-4 draftsmen, assign work, provide guidance, and maintain quality.
• Issue approved drawings to related areas on time per programme.
• Attend design, team, and coordination meetings; prepare notes for records and communications to the team.
• Implement corrective actions per quality requirements and maintain discipline and productivity.
• Motivate the drafting team to achieve company objectives.

Job description

Duties and Tasks

General
To set up curtain walling, doors and windows constructions related to the project, in accordance with
architectural concept drawings, contract / specification and bill of quantity.
Make sure structural checks done for all necessary components. (Glass, Aluminium Mullions, Transoms,
Brackets etc).
To ensure that the approvals of drawings and sample materials obtained as specified/approved within the
time scale of the programme.
Leadership and Manage the team members in a professional level, allocation of work to team members,
necessary guide lines to them in drafting, and maintaining the quality.
Issuing the approved drawings/information to related areas, in time, as per programme.
Attend design meetings, team meetings and co-ordination meeting, and as well as prepare notes for records
and pass information to the team.
Take necessary measures / implement correctives steps as per quality department requirements.
Maintain discipline with the team, and find ways to improve the quality productivity and performance of
his team.
Leading small group of three to four draftsmen, and motivating them to achieve objectives of the
company.
