Stage Riggers Inc. in the Philippines seeks a skilled Architectural Drafter to create precise AutoCAD drawings and architectural plans, translating sketches into accurate digital drawings, and preparing drawing sets for submissions.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design requirements are met, review drawings for compliance, and keep drawing files organized and up-to-date with version control.

Competenze

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, CAD, or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D drafting; 3D modelling is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, conventions, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise drawings.
• Good communication and collaboration with architects, engineers, and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and architectural plans using AutoCAD software in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Convert sketches, design concepts, and engineering requirements into accurate digital drawings
• Prepare and maintain drawing files, ensuring proper organisation, naming conventions, and version control
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design requirements and resolve technical issues
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Modify existing drawings based on feedback, revisions, and change orders from stakeholders
• Produce multiple views, cross-sections, and detailed components as required for project documentation
• Ensure all drawings are properly scaled, dimensioned, and annotated for clarity and construction purposes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AutoCAD features, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency
• Assist in the preparation of drawing sets for submissions, permits, and client presentations

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with demonstrated expertise in 2D drafting and experience with 3D modelling preferred
• Strong understanding of STRUCTURAL and engineering drawing standards, conventions, and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, precise technical drawings
• Solid knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and industry regulations relevant to architectural drafting
• Ability to interpret and work from design sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in the stage, entertainment, or construction industry is advantageous
• Diploma or certification in Drafting, CAD, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in using computer-aided design tools and familiarity with other design software such as Revit or SketchUp is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
