Job summary

HireMe.ph in Metro Manila is seeking two full-time Auto Mechanics to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles at our Makati or Mandaluyong service centers. You will test drive vehicles after service, estimate repair times, and maintain detailed repair logs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years’ experience, strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment. Safety and accuracy are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational Auto Mechanical course preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as Auto/Truck Diesel Mechanic or similar.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to work with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Physical strength and stamina for extended vehicle work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Makati or Mandaluyong City.
• Direct hire for two full-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine and electrical/mechanical components to diagnose issues.
• Conduct diagnostic testing to identify vehicle problems.
• Perform basic automotive care and replace worn parts to ensure function.
• Schedule maintenance sessions and advise drivers on best practices.
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates for repairs.
• Maintain repair logs and maintenance records.
• Handle tools and heavy equipment as needed (e.g. forklift).
• Test parts and systems after repairs and conduct test drives.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
