The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of automotive mechanic experience, a vocational automotive diploma or NC II certification, and the ability to read manuals and service bulletins.

Qualifications

• Vocational auto tech diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years' automotive mechanic experience; cars/trucks a plus.
• NC II in Automotive Servicing or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical manuals and service bulletins.
• Physically fit and able to handle tools; detail-oriented.
• Willing to work on-site, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, general repairs, and troubleshooting on vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues with tools.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
• Repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools and work bays.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and manufacturer specs.
• Complete job orders and repair documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts Department.
• Perform road tests before and after repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace.

Job Summary

The Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role supports service operations by delivering quality workmanship in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Vocational course graduate in Automotive Technology or related field is preferred
• With at least 1–2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic (experience in cars and/or trucks is an advantage)
• NC II in Automotive Servicing or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and preventive maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service bulletins
• Physically fit and capable of handling tools and equipment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Willing to work on-site, overtime, and weekends as needed

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, general repairs, and troubleshooting on vehicles (cars and/or trucks)
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using appropriate tools and equipment
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements
• Carry out repair work such as engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and cooling system repairs
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and service bay facilities
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and manufacturer specifications
• Complete job orders, service reports, and repair documentation accurately and on time
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts Department regarding repair findings and parts requirements
• Perform road tests before and after repairs to ensure quality work
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area
• Support warranty repairs and recall services, as required
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned
