Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. seeks a field maintenance technician to support automated fare collection systems in Metro Manila. You will perform Level 1 and Level 2 corrective maintenance, address equipment issues, replace or fix broken hardware, and test brand-new components.

The role requires adaptability for fieldwork, willingness to travel, and basic IT/EE/MECE knowledge. Driving experience and a valid license are preferred for on-site assignments.

Qualifications

• Vocational degree in IT, EE, or MECE-related fields is preferred.
• Familiar with repair techniques for automated fare collection systems.
• Knowledge of AFC system components and their basic sections.
• Willing to field-work and adapt to a schedule.
• Driver's license and driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 and Level 2 corrective maintenance on AFC systems.
• Address equipment issues and replace or repair broken hardware.
• Test and evaluate new hardware as it arrives.
• Provide technical assistance for rail activities or projects and support users.

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBLE:

• As the first person to the reported defect, do Level 1 and Level 2 Corrective Maintenance.
• Addressing equipment issues
• Replacing or fixing broken hardware
• Offers a study of the fault's primary cause
• Executes routine maintenance
• Tests and evaluates brand-new hardware
• Offers clients technical assistance for additional rail activities and/or unique projects.
• Supporting users and serving as the initial point of contact for reporting errors.
• Validating, inspecting, and informing the immediate supervisor, client, or support of the AFCS Equipment status.
• accountable for labeling faulty spare components.
• carries out cleaning and disinfecting of the office.
• helps with document or inventory transmissions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduates with at least a Vocational degree, preferably in IT, EE, or MECE-related fields, are welcome.
• Familiar with common repair techniques for automated fare collection systems
• Being familiar with the fundamental sections and elements of automatic fare collection systems
• For fieldwork, be adaptable, and work on a schedule
• Preferably has a driver's license and driving experience
