Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring an Australian Financial Planning Associate in Eastwood, Quezon City. The role supports Australian advisers, preparing high-quality, compliant ROAs and SOAs, and conducting financial strategy research in a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate will have experience with ROA/SOA preparation, Australian financial planning processes, and proficient English communication. Knowledge of planning software (Xplan, AdviserLogic, Midwinter) is highly regarded, with on-site or hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience preparing compliant ROAs and SOAs.
• Strong understanding of Australian financial planning process & regulations.
• Experience drafting advice for investment, superannuation, and insurance strategies.
• Knowledge of Australian superannuation, investments, personal insurance, retirement planning concepts.
• Ability to perform financial product and strategy research to support adviser recommendations.
• Excellent written English and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Australian Financial Planning Associate to support Australian Financial Advisers by preparing high quality, compliant advice documents and conducting financial strategy research. This role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, welcomes feedback, and is committed to delivering professional work across a range of financial planning strategies.

Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)

• Experience preparing compliant Records of Advice (ROAs) and Statements of Advice (SOAs)
• Strong understanding of the Australian financial planning advice process and regulatory requirements
• Experience preparing advice for investment and superannuation portfolio rebalancing, superannuation and investment contributions, investment portfolio establishment, superannuation rollovers, and Life, TPD, and Trauma Insurance strategies
• Knowledge of Australian superannuation, investments, personal insurance, and retirement planning concepts
• Experience conducting financial product and strategy research to support adviser recommendations
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, compliant advice documentation
• Excellent written English communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple advice files while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Experience using Xplan, AdviserLogic, Midwinter, or similar Australian financial planning software is highly regarded
• Exposure to implementation support, SMSFs, retirement strategies, investment modelling, or compliance reviews is an advantage
• Open to working onsite or hybrid for right candidates.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Prepare compliant Records of Advice (ROAs), Statements of Advice (SOAs), and supporting advice documentation
• Draft advice relating to investment and superannuation portfolio rebalancing, contribution strategies, investment portfolio establishment, superannuation rollovers, and Life, TPD, and Trauma Insurance
• Conduct financial product, legislative, and strategy research to support adviser recommendations
• Review client information to ensure advice documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
• Collaborate with Financial Advisers to clarify strategies and advice requirements
• Maintain accurate client records and supporting documentation within financial planning systems
• Ensure advice documents meet internal quality standards and Australian regulatory requirements before submission
• Manage multiple advice files while meeting agreed turnaround times and service standards
• Apply feedback to continuously improve technical knowledge and advice qualityContribute to process improvements and support a collaborative team environment
