Job summary

Mintrix Business Advisory is seeking a skilled Draftsperson/CAD or Mechanical Draftsperson to translate sketches into precise 3D models and fabrication drawings for steel fabrication projects.

You will produce BOMs, DXF/DWG/STEP files, ensure welding details and finishes are correct, and collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and project managers to maintain organised CAD files.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Draftsperson/CAD or Mechanical Draftsperson.
• Essential: hands-on steel fabrication and welding experience.
• Understanding of structural steel, weldments, sheet metal, and assemblies.
• Knowledge of laser/CNC cutting, bending, drilling, welding, and workshop processes.
• Experience with BOMs, cut lists, DXF/CNC files, and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio of relevant steel fabrication/mechanical drafting projects.
