Job summary

Outsourcey is seeking a Bookkeeper to support AU-based clients from the Philippines, delivering end-to-end bookkeeping in a shared services model. You will manage AP/AR, reconciliations, BAS lodgments, payroll, and client reporting.

The role requires 2+ years of Australian bookkeeping experience, Xero proficiency (essential), and knowledge of GST/BAS, PAYG, and STP. You will liaise with AU stakeholders and ensure compliance with AU standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with Australian clients or AU accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Xero and familiarity with MYOB and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day transactions (AP/AR, bank feeds, GL entries) for multiple AU client accounts.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements per AU standards.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS; manage AU payroll processing (superannuation, PAYG, STP).
• Issue client invoices and manage debtor follow-up in AUD.
• Process supplier payments and maintain the chart of accounts/GL for each client.
• Prepare monthly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for AU stakeholders.
• Communicate with AU-based clients, account managers, and external accountants via email/video calls.
