Job summary

Teemcorp Staff Solutions Inc in Makati is seeking an Accounts & Payroll Assistant for our Australian-based client in construction. You will process payrolls, manage payables/receivables, and assist with intercompany invoicing, while communicating with the Australian client and adhering to EBAs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounts and payroll, Australian payroll experience, and strong Excel and Xero skills. The role requires independence and accuracy in a fast-paced finance team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accounting or related qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounts and payroll, with hands-on payroll processing.
• Australian payroll experience and EBAs exposure is highly desirable.
• Must apply Australian payroll requirements including pay classifications, overtime, and entitlements.
• Proficient with Excel and general IT skills.
• Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with Australian finance and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and fortnightly payrolls per Australian payroll requirements and EBAs.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with cost allocations and intercompany invoicing.
• Code and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Provide information for claims to project teams.
• Prepare MyLeave and ReddiFund lodgements.
• Assist with purchase order compliance.
• Support month-end close for the finance team.
• Reconcile payroll and leave balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier payment runs for approval and follow up invoices.
